John Peters MBA.BSc.MRAeS has developed an international reputation as an inspirational speaker on his PoW experiences in the Gulf War. In 1999, he presented the Sir James Martin Lecture at the Royal Aeronautical Society, with principal guest, the Duke of Edinburgh. In 2001, he followed Nelson Mandela on stage in South Africa.

Within his Royal Air Force flying career, he flew Tornado GR1 and was an instructor and examiner. He was pivotal in introducing a Human Factors approach into the RAF, a change management programme designed to identify human error by introducing an open and honest culture. This resulted in the award of the 1999 Flight International Aerospace Industry Award for Training and Safety.

He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Leicester University and is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Directors.
